Biography

Lance Kerrigan is a digital creator and an avid writer. He has written for university publications and community news; Focusing on technology, culture & lifestyle, reviews and opinion. His interest in storytelling has been evident since an early age and expresses this through hobbies and voluntary work where he provides community groups with an online presence through videography, podcasting and graphical imagery.

Combining these with his love of travel, droning and adventures off-the-beaten-track he started an online catalogue of podcasts, videos and photos, documenting his explorations across Ireland. His journeys took him everywhere from tourist hotspots to hidden gems, discovering the wonders of the emerald isle. He discovered quickly that some stories are better told through the written word; video and audio alone couldn’t do justice to the essence of the experience.

This rekindled his interest in writing which subsequently surged while undertaking an MA in Journalism. Upon graduating in 2021 he was determined to bring to life the many stories his imagination was conceiving. He decided to start with a tale that was bobbing around since 2016.

Land of the Leprechaun is his debut into the world of fiction, inspired by the locations and legends he explored while travelling across Ireland.
